Have a First Look at the Mercedes-Benz 2014 S-Class
There are many new features on this year’s S-Class.
Since 1972, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has consistently raised the bar with each new generation. As the Mercedes-Benz 2014 S-Class prepares to emerge to the general public, Mercedes-Benz has released images of the new sedan that have piqued the interest of car aficionados worldwide.
The Mercedes-Benz 2014 S-Class breaks with the tradition of previous model years by implementing two high-color displays with a diagonal measurement of 12.3 inches. The unit on the left projects two traditional analog gauges, while the unit on the right is more concerned with the creature comforts of the car.
What are those creature comforts? Mercedes-Benz will be rolling out the mBrace2, a cloud-based infotainment system that will also mark a new innovation in the S-Class. In addition to that system, passengers will also be treated to massaging, individually vented seats. The seats are also heated, as is the steering wheel, increasing comfort for drivers on cold winter mornings.
A completely autonomous temperature control system for both driver and passenger is also a new feature for 2014. The vent system also features ionization and an active perfuming system, which can customize the scent inside the car, completely negating the need for a pine-scented piece of cardboard hanging from your rearview mirror.
